MARTIN, V. Doreen (nee Beach)

Doreen peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Providence Care Hospital, at the age of 89.  Doreen, beloved wife of the late Frank Martin (2011).  She will be lovingly remembered by her son Greg and his wife Lisa, her adoring granddaughters; Nicole Martin Kohn (Paige), Christie Martin (Cole) and Lindsay Sine (Zach) and great grandchildren; Edison, Landon and Austin.  Dear sister of Neil and his wife Evelina Beach and sister-in-law of Lucy Griffiths (Ralph).  Doreen lived an active life and enjoyed camping, travelling, fishing and wintering in Florida. She was a very social person with many close friends.  A special thank you is extended to the staff at the Providence Care Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care that Doreen and her family received.  A Celebration of Doreen's Life will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at the James Reid Funeral Home, Reception and Celebration Centre, 1900 John Counter Blvd., (entering from the rear parking lot doors).  For those who wish donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Doreen's memory.
