Obituary of Denis Griffiths

GRIFFITHS, Denis,
In his 96th year, Denis passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Providence Continuing Care on July 6, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Leah Griffiths. Denis was born in Wales but the family immigrated to Kingston when he was young. He worked at The Woolen Mill as a young man where he met Leah. Denis served our great country in WW2 and after being honourably discharged he began working at Alcan until his retirement. Predeceased by his loving son Wayne Griffiths (Marilyn, nee Oakley ). He will be missed by his 2 daughters Shari Bullock (Lorne) and Gayle Raaflaub (Ted). Denis was first and foremost a loving family man sharing that love with 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  As per his wishes immediate family members will have a private celebration of life.
