Canadian Air Force Ret'd (26 years)

Ron passed peacefully at home on June 29, 2019 at the age of 67, after a long illness with ALS. He was the loving husband of Connie (nee Petersen) for 38 years. He was a very caring father to Michael (Grace), Stephen (Julia) and Richard (Mckayla). He had two wonderful grandchildren Joanna and Jamie who brought him so much joy. Survived by his sister Bonnie (Al) Snudden, step-brother Barry (Liz) McMann and uncle Glenn (Ruth) Aldred. Predeceased by his mother Ruth (Len) McMann and father Harold Snudden. Ron will be missed by many family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and supportive friends.

Ron was an incredible role model by being brave, positive and courageous through his entire 6 year battle, keeping his keen sense of humour and wit.

There will be a visitation held at the James Reid Funeral Home on Thursday July 11, 2019 from 12:30pm until 1:50pm with the funeral service at 2pm in the James Reid Funeral Home Chapel.

Thank you to the nurses from CBI and Paramed for their support and kindness. A special thank you to Teresa, RPN, with whom he became very close.
