FORD, Charles Wesley

Peacefully at Providence Care, Kingston, Ontario on June 28, 2019 surrounded by his family in his 74th year. Survived by his loving wife Louise (nee Legros), father to Steven (Tricia) and Glen (Karen). Proud papa to Zachary, Olivia and Grace. Also leaves behind his sister Judy Whittaker (Bryan deceased) and brother Ken (Margaret). Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Teresa Ford. Deeply cherished and missed by his extended family and many close friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at the KGH Cancer Centre and nursing staff members at Providence Care (Heritage 2) who made Charlie’s last moments peaceful and beautiful. Arrangements entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, Ontario. Visitation on Saturday July 6, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. followed by Liturgy of the Word in the James Reid Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bramwell Pearce officiating. Interment of the ashes at a later date in Windsor, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
