Margaret Eleanor Bury (nee Plummer)

Margaret passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on June 26, 2019 in Kingston, Ontario at the age of 91. Margaret Eleanor Bury was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, the youngest daughter of Edward and Carrie Plummer.

Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life include her children: 

Michael Forrest (Cathy), Winnipeg Man., Dr. Patricia Forrest (Andrew Hooper); Nana to Miranda Forrest, Tracey Dowhan, Dan Gadoury, Danielle Gadoury, Michael Introcaso, and great grandchildren in Windsor, Ont., and Aunt to nieces, nephews and extended family in Nova Scotia. She is predeceased by her parents, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, and a precious daughter, Willo Margaret Renaud (Bob, 2019) in 2002.

Margaret felt blessed with a family of loving children, a fondness for the people around her and a deep faith in our Lord.  Deeply loved and cherished, she will be forever missed by her loving family and a dear family friend, Cathy Dunne.

Margaret's family wishes to acknowledge the support from the SE-LHIN. 

This support allowed mom to remain at home as long as possible. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks also to the Palliative Care team, Providence Care and to Sandy Whaley, Hospice Palliative Care Coordinator, Southern Frontenac Community Services, and to volunteers, Lynda Wilde and Pat Frost, who sat with our mom like she was their own.

Margaret had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Railton, Ontario and a member of the Catholic Women’s League. Her radiant spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

At Margaret's request, cremation has taken place; with a service to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home.
