Obituary of Ortenzia Murano

Died peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with all her family by her side on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Raffele Murano.  Ortenzia will be sadly missed by her children, Pasquale (Linda), Mario (the late Pina), Rosa (Noe) Algieri, Angelina (Angelo) Gencarelli and Sandy (the late Stephen) Henderson. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren the late Raffaele, Agostino, Gino, Mark, David, Michael, Stephen, Christopher, Alex, Nick and Brandon and their families plus 16 great grandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild. Ortenzia was the last surviving of 6 siblings. Survived by sisters-in-law Bombina Murano of Italy, Francesca Murano of Kingston and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (392 Palace Rd.) on Thursday, June 6 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, for those that wish can make a donation to a charity of their choice.
