Obituary of Barbara E. Castles

CASTLES, Barbara "Barb" E. 
Passed away peacefully at the John M. Parrott Center in Napanee on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the age of 83. Predeceased in 1995 by her best friend and loving husband William "Bill" Castles. Sadly missed by daughters Sue Castles, Wendy Castles (Bob) and Sandy Smith (Ron). Loving Gram to Joanna Castles (Matt) and Erin Hillier. Sister of Betty Gillick, Brian Black (Char) and the late Alan Black and Paul Black. Barb was a retired Registered Nurse and a graduate of Hamilton General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 60. Barb's family sends a huge heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the John M. Parrott Centre for such loving care.  A memorial reception for friends and family will be held at the JAMES REID RECEPTION & CELEBRATION CENTRE, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, ON, on Sunday, June 2, between the hours of 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. (please enter the Reception Centre from the rear parking lot). For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society.
