Obituary of Joan Irene Walker

1937-2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Joan Irene Walker nee Gillespie at the age of 82. Joan passed away May 5th, 2019 in ICU at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Joan is survived by her children Jim (Margaret Gillespie), Judy (Jeff Hasson) and Cathy (Carl Kaduck) and sister-in-law Marjorie Fraser of Edmonton. Predeceased by her Husband Clayton H Walker, her brother Bill Gillespie, daughter-in-law Iris Walker, and her cherished grandson Will Walker.

There will be a visitation held at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be in the James Reid Funeral Home Chapel at 11am on Wednesday May 8th, 2019 with interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens to follow.
