Obituary of M. E. Jean Mellow

MELLOW, M.E. Jean
Jean passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.  Beloved wife of Keith Mellow for 62 years.  Loving daughter of the late Lorne and Verna (Lake) Ferguson.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children Cathy Roeper (Jim), Janine Rehob (James) and Julian Mellow (Kim Price). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren David, Katrina and Amara.  Jean was  predeceased by her brother Glenn Ferguson.  Friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  A celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Murdock McFarlane officiating.  A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception Centre.  The family will gather privately at Sandhill Cemetery for the interment. For those who wish, donations may be made to The Lung Association or to the Kingston Humane Society in Jean's memory. Due to family members with allergies, flowers are gratefully declined.
