It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving sister, aunt and friend at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, April 7, 2019.  Sandy, beloved daughter of the late Victor and Mary Smith.  Cherished sister of Ken (Hilda), the late Gary, Janet, and the late Gwen.  She will be lovingly remembered by her adoring niece Stephanie Levair (Joseph) and her great niece Savannah and soon to be Elijah Levair.  Sandy will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.  Sandy's family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Khalid, Dr. Yu and Dr. Hammad and all the staff of Kidd 2 at KGH for the wonderful care that she received.  In keeping with Sandy’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 6-8 pm and on Thursday, April 11 from 1-1:45 pm before the funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 pm.  Reverend Christopher Doering to officiate.  Interment will follow the funeral at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.  For those who wish, donations in Sandy's memory may be made to the Living Waters Anglican Fellowship or to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of SE ON).
