Obituary of Donald Albert Cunningham

CUNNINGHAM, Donald Albert
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Donald passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by the love of family, on Monday, March 18, 2019. Donald Cunningham (age 68), devoted husband to Cathy Murray and loving father to Leah and Lauren and their partners Ken and Steve.  Affectionately known as "Papa" to his beloved grandsons, Austen and Jaxon.  Bursting with love and affection, his contagious spirit will endure through his many friends and family, whom he cherished more than anything. He was predeceased by his parents Doris and George. Don will be missed by his sisters Doris, Donna, Teresa, Linda, Mary and Laurel. He leaves behind his brothers Malcom, Brian and predeceased by Paul. Loved by his sister-in-law Joan and brother-in-law Bob and is remembered by niece Emily, along with several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Donald's wishes, cremation will be followed by a private celebration of his life, at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario).
