Obituary of Johannes "John" Neeteson

Johannes (John) Neeteson

1929-2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Johannes (John) Neeteson on Monday, February 4, 2019, at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of the late Gea (Gail) Neeteson and loving father to Gail Neeteson (John Gay) of Toronto, Jocelyn Eastwood (Claude Chapados) of Hamilton, Peter Neeteson (Renée) of Kingston and Andrew Neeteson (Christine) of Ottawa.  He adored his grandchildren, Genevieve and Brodie Gay, Kyle and Carly Eastwood, Nathan Neeteson (Kirsten Sjonnesen) and Trevor Neeteson, and Brianna and Zach Neeteson.  He is survived by his sister-in-law Grace Vlijm of Grimsby and many nieces and nephews.  He retired from his work at Celanese Canada as a Chemical Engineer.  He will be greatly missed.  Funeral arranged by JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME.  Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
