SCANLON, Barbara “Barb”

July 3, 1930- January 21, 2019

Peacefully at Guelph General Hospital. Beloved friend and life partner of Bill Kelso.  Dear mother of David James Tallen (Susan), Robert John Tallen (Sandra). Predeceased by parents Frank and Mary Robb, and her brother Robert and his wife Geri, and her sister Audrey (Ian Shaw). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kendra Brennan (Brad), Brad Tallen (Jenna), Liza Tallen, Jeffrey Tallen (Jen), Emily Setlack (Matt) and Laura Tallen (Nino Rizzo), and 11 great-grandchildren.  Fondly remembered by Bill’s children Brigid (Brad) and Michael.  Friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W.  Family and friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Thursday, January 24 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.  Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, January 25 at 11:00 am.  For those who wish, donations in Barb’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
