Dear Pat and family: I have just returned from vacation and read or Bazil's death.. I regret that I was not here to pay my respects but want to say how much I enjoyed working with Bazil at both Warkworth and KP. He was a sound, respected man, competent, with a good sense of humour. There are few people in our lives that are mentors and father figures. For me uncle Bazil was this man. The pleasant memories at this time of grief come rushing back as we remember what he meant to each of us.To have somebody of his stature in my life, I can truly say that I was blessed.
