I'm reading these condolences with a tear in my eye. My Big Brother Reg was such a good person and loved by everyone who knew him. My Husband and our Daughters loved their Uncle and Brother-in-Law and have so many good memories of him as I do. Always a smile, and quick with a laugh. My protector as a child, and a great Brother. He was blessed with a wonderful wife, children and grandchildren and great-grandaughter. One couldn't ask for more in life. We will surely miss him. xoxoxoxo Your "little" Sister.

I was very saddened to learn of the passing of my cousin Reg. I have many fond memories of Reg and his father known to all as Trummy. Both Reg and Trummy were two of the kindest individuals I have ever known. They always had great respect for others and were genuinely interested in their welfare.
My Dad (Reg’s uncle and Trummy’s brother) known to most as Lefty, had great fondness for his nephew Reg and connected with him regularly at the Knowlton Lake cottage. When my Dad passed away in 2006 I recall Reg’s fascination with my Dad’s military experiences which were recounted in some recently written historical accounts of the exploits of the Royal Canadian Regiment in Italy which were displayed at the funeral home.
Another vivid memory of Reg that I have is of him standing on a chair which was balanced on a piece of plywood that was being pulled by a boat on Knowlton Lake. He had a big smile on his face throughout this display of his physical prowess. Of course this display was followed by a “cold one” and lots of banter and laughter on the shoreline.
I know that Gwen, Darlene and Clay will be comforted by the many great memories that they have of their father/husband. Reg was truly a very special person.
