We were truly saddened to learn of John's passing. Lise and I have many great memories of John; we both had the pleasure of working with John and travelling with him. John was always the gentleman. He had a great heart, a great laugh and an easy going nature - all wonderful attributes for a job that could be very stressful at times. We will sorely miss him.

My sincerest sympathies to your family. John and I worked together in our 20’s and 30’s; our desks were next to each other. John was a really terrific guy. He was thoughtful, smart, diligent and the most pleasant person. He always remained so calm when the urgent tags arrived! I can really remember his laugh; we had some good chuckles. Bless John, we lost a good one. Nice to remember him after all of these years.

Truly saddened to hear this news. I worked with John for a number of years in anti-dumping. I was just starting and his career was closer to winding down. I took my first trip with him in 2001. Always a gentleman, always helpful with a smile and just pleasant to be around. The word "classy" gets thrown around but John really was that, a classy guy and I appreciated him a lot, especially during that time I was getting my feet wet in my career.
