I am Anna first cousin, the daughter of her mother's sister Isabel (Cumming) Wood, and I was saddened to learn of her recent sudden death. Although life took us in different directions and I had not seen her in over 60 years, I clearly recall her visits to our family home when we were children. She was ten years older than I, and I was always impressed by how easily she could make us laugh. In fact, over the years when I would think of her it was with a sense of joy and exuberance that she so easily imparted. She was a most cheerful and dynamic visitor.
