Obituary of Betty Warmington

Warmington (Moran), Betty (Alice) Elizabeth

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Betty (Alice) Warmington (Moran) on August 25, 2020 in her 87th year. She is predeceased by her parents Catherine and Bartley Hughes and sister Kathleen. She is survived by sisters Muriel and Josephine (Bill), son Larry (Diane) and daughter Louise (Pat), grandsons Tyler (Simone), Luke (David) and Zachary (Jade), great grandkids Paisley, Ainsley, Corey and Bert as well as many nieces and nephews.

To her chosen brother Doug Hawley and his wife Bonnie, thanks for everything you did. Special thanks to close friends Carol Smith, Carol Lanquay, Dave Donovan and Joyce Bothwright. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses that guided mom on this journey especially the Palliative and MAID teams. Mom was a very strong and determined woman who lived life on her terms and faced death the same way. Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister soar with the Angels and watch over us. You will always be loved.

Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Friday, August 28 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM.
