Barb's life was a gift to so many people. Her focus was justifiably and beautifully her close family, always celebrating her grandchildrens successes and always thinking of Skot, Tammy and Doug. Her circle of love and influence spread to friends, family, students, employees and beyond. She advised business students, invited friends for special meals and worked with church members and business groups to help the community. Barb was a gift to family, friends and all to who knew her (and many who didn't), and I am sure I'm not alone in saying the only thing that is as strong as her friendship is how much we will all miss her. I think of her and Bob all the time.

Dear Skot and Family,
The phrase 'please accept my deepest sympathies' seems just so trite and distant when you have lost someone as dear as a 'Mom'.
Moms are those people who, for all intents and purposes, are supposed to go on, forever.
Offering their special blend of continuous support and timely advice ... whether solicited or not.
Creating such an intricately woven, emotional, pattern in/on our lives and memories.
Time affords us the gift of reflection. Relish this.
Your Mom left an amazing legacy.
I extend to all of you My Very Best.
Sincerely,
Penny Green
(of the 'Olde Centennial Days')

We are sending our deepest condolences to all the members of the Caldwell family on the passing of Barbara. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. We will be keeping Skot, Tammy, Abby and Harper in our minds in the coming days and months. It was a pleasure to meet Barbara at the Waterford Retirement Residence in recent times. What a remarkable woman she was and what an extraordinary life she led. We hope that the support of friends and family will be a source of consolation to all who mourn Barbara's passing.
Yours very sincerely,
David Mathers, Jillann Rothwell, Ted and Gordon Mathers

Barbara was a wonderful teacher. She led a course in 1994, “Entrepreneurship for Women” which was instrumental in helping me start my career as a financial advisor. She was an inspiration and a motivator, with patience and kindness and practical tips. Thank you. Ann Richards
