To the Clarke Family, my sincere condolences. I came to know Danny as a patron to his wonderful establishment, "The Loyal Oarsman". Danny often chatted with his customers about life and/or the Habs. I knew him as a kind and generous man, always looking out for his customers. He was always appreciative of his regulars and often showed this by doing something special for them, especially if you were a Hab fan. :) He purchased a box for a Montreal Canadiens game and invited his regular Hab fan customers, including me. He sponsored so many charitable golf tournaments as well. I personally will miss him and and our small chats.
His family certainly can be proud and I am sure they will cherish their memories with him. God bless Danny Clarke and may he rest in peace.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Dan.
I worked for Dan and Spring many years ago and have nothing but fond memories of Dan and my time at The Oarsman.

Our sincere condolences to Dan's family during this difficult time. There was never any doubt when you spoke to Dan that his family was the centre of his world. Dan was a dear friend to many including our husband and father Rollie. Before and after Rollie's death Dan was always ready to help in any way needed. Dan was a great businessman who created an environment where people could always rely on good friends, food and laughs. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Christal and Linda I was am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing, he was always a pleasure to speak with and a generous man to the community donating his time and the funds raised from his annual golf tournament which I enjoyed for several years.

So many great memories with my friend Danny...the golf trips, the stories, the laughs and on and on. Shocked and saddened to hear he had been taken from us far too soon. Sincere condolences to Spring, Cristal, Melissa and families, to the Oarsman family who cherished his guidance and leadership, and to the Pub Group members who lost a wonderful friend and mentor. He will be sorely missed by us all.
