I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Les and I crossed paths many times over the years, mostly on golf courses and particularly in Malone, N.Y.
Les was instantly friendly, funny, and thoughtful - the hallmark attributes of a superb educator - which he was.
Les had many lasting friendships among other wonderful people which speaks to his depth of spirit and breadth of character.
He will be sadly missed, and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
I offer my sincere condolences to his loving family.

My sincere condolences on Les’s passing. Having known him since I was a student at Sinclair, to meeting him again on the golf course as an adult, those memories will never fade, and I will remember his personable nature and good humour always.

Martha, such a great loss for you and your family. Les was one of my fav curling team members when we played together in the Dupont games over the past few years. I will miss his warm smile and friendly greeting. I am sure you will have lots of wonderful memories to help you through the difficult times ahead. Most sincere condolences.
