Obituary of Marilyn Anne THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Marilyn Anne (nee Rutherford) - On December 12, 2015 in her 78th year Marilyn passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Rev. David J. Thompson. Much loved mother to Jim (Cathy) and Kim Hoover (Brian). Grandmother to her adored grandchildren Emily, Joshua, Nathan, Katlyn, Maggie and Jacob. She is survived by her brother Gordon Rutherford(Campbellford, ON) and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Bonnema (London, ON). Jim, Kim and their families invite you to join them to celebrate Marilyn's life on Thursday, December 17th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kingston Christian Fellowship, 2621 Highway 38 Kingston, Ont. Friends and family are welcome at the committal service at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, 2563 Division St., Glenburnie,ON on Friday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Providence Continuing Care for their outstanding compassion and care.
