I am so sorry that I was unable to attend the celebration of life for your mom. I was fortunate to have become friends with Marilyn when we were supply teachers at J R Henderson school many years ago. We were similar in many ways to the point of showing up at school wearing outfits we had made out of the identical fabric. Lots of good laughs over that. In spite of the dreadful disease that had taken her from you I'm certain the many treasured memories you have of her will sustain you as you mourn her passing. Marian Gates

Marilyn was a friendly, kind lady; a great supply teacher, and a good friend. She and I team taught together many times at J.R. Henderson school. I thoroughly appreciated her ability as a teacher and her sense of humour and we had lots of good times working together. She was a great lady stricken by a horrible disease. You will miss her terribly but I'm sure you will count your blessings of all the good times you had together over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ruth Hawley
