In keeping with Fred’s wishes please join us for a celebration of his life on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 from 1pm-3pm at the Rivermill (2 Cataraqui Street) in the old historical woolen mill.

After a brave journey with cancer, we announce the peaceful passing of Fred McAllister, 54 years old, at Providence Care December 26th, 2018. No matter which direction Fred was lead in his journey, there was never a day where he couldn’t be seen with a warm smile paired with a set of kind words. The care and desire to help others was just one of the fundamental life principles Fred lived by. He was always delighted to lend a helping hand and would work tirelessly, to ensure your needs were met before his own even crossed his mind. Loving partner and husband to Susan, loving father to his son Ryan, step-son Darren, and step-daughter Emma. Predeceased by his parents Alice (Hogg) and Clifford McAllister, brother Christopher and sister Brenda. Fred will be fondly remembered by his four sisters Sandra, Iris, Ina, Tracy, along with six brothers Wayne, Darrell, Kenny, Peter, Paul, and Roger, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
