Peacefully, at St. Mary`s of the Lake Hospital, surrounded by the love of family, on Friday, March 18, 2016, in his 81st year. Reunited in love with his wife Kathy (nee Woodhouse), who predeceased him in 2006. Cherished father of Lori Deodato (Ted), Karen Boyd (Bob) and Tracey Smalls (Edward). Treasured grandpa of Jacob Deodato (Chelsea), Zachary Deodato (Brittany), Kelly Boyd and Robbie Boyd (Krista). Adored great-grandpa of Nia, Sophia and Harmony Deodato. Predeceased by his parents Noel and Mabel and brother George. Survived by his sisters Nola Gordanier (Art) and Shirley O`Sullivan (late Ed). Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Wednesday, March 23, between the hours of 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 24, at 11:00 am, with Reverend Heather McLurg-Murphy officiating. Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery.
