It is with great sadness we announce that Dalton passed away at KGH on October 21, 2018 at the age of 79. Dalton will be dearly missed by his wife Roberta (nee Lake), his sons Todd (Rosanne), Robin (Julia), and his grandchildren Ira (Morgan), Bree, Russell, Drew, and great-grandchild Oliver. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Glenda and Muriel.

A special thanks to all of the physicians, nurses and support staff at KGH on Kidd 2 ICU.

There will be a visitation at the James Reid Funeral Home on Tuesday October 23, 2018 from 1-1:50pm, followed by a chapel service at 2pm. The interment will follow at the conclusion of the service at Sandhill Cemetery in Battersea, ON. Everyone is welcome to attend the reception following the burial in the James Reid Reception Centre.

In lieu of flowers, the Smith family would appreciate donations to the Battersea United Church or a charity of choice in Dalton’s memory.
