Doug passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on July 31, 2018 at the age of 73, left to mourn is his wife Gaylia Ohlman of 15 years.
Predeceased by his parents Doreen and Walker Ohlmann, son Robert and two brothers Robert and William. Lovingly remembered by step-father Gerious Babcock, daughter Angela Azaria, daughter-in-law Adrienne Ohlman, brother Joe (Ernestine) Ohlmann, sisters Carol (Rodger) Free, Beverly (Robin) Murray, step-sons John (Mary) Prytulka, Mark Prytulka and step-daughter Christina Kyle (Mike Stevenson).
Forever will be missed by terrific friends Rob and Tammy Wagar and Kevin (Buffy) Baceda. A great loss to grandchildren Tate and Sabrina Bashaw, Jessica, Keith, and Brittany Prytulka, Natasha and Cassandra Prytulka, Randi and Jordan Kyle, Alana and Mitch Stevenson.
Fondly remembered by many of his very special nieces and nephews, cousins and a wide selection of friends.
Doug was employed for 37 years at DuPont and was a volunteer firefighter for many years in Sydenham. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the outdoors. Doug enjoyed a game of cards and playing the guitar. He had a unique sense of humour and always had a big smile for everyone.
He will live in our souls forever, never to be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

There will be a visitation at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Wednesday August 8, 2018 from 6-9pm. The graveside service will take place on Thursday August 9, 2018 at 11:30am at the Holy Trinity Cemetery on Buckshot Lake Road in Plevna. Lunch at Clar-Mill Community Hall following the graveside service.
