Obituary of Shirley Mae BELMONT

Belmont, Shirley Mae (nee Smith) Originally from Amherst Island Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, on March 1st, 2016 in her 86th year with family by her side. Predeceased by her dear husband Harold Kenneth Belmont, father John Edward Smith, mother Emaline Mary Wemp, sister Audrey McGinn and grandson James Lucy. Shirley is survived by her children Valerie Cartier (Bart), Robert Johnson (Faye), Harold Belmont (Cindy), Kevin Belmont (Tammy). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jeremy (Stephanie), James, Troy (Colleen), Brandon (Angie), Andrew (LouLou), Bradley (Alex), Belinda (Sebastien), Nicholas, Zachary, Jacob, Alesha (Shane), Jeremy (Siobhan), and Brandon (Buffy) and 15 great grandchildren. Shirley will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be sadly missed by her dear friend of 75 years Marg Dark. A special thank you to Dr. Moffatt and staff of Davies 4 ICU. Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m., with funeral service following at 1:30 pm.
