Arthur, Robert (Bob) James

1937-2018

 

Bob passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital with his loving wife Sheila (nee Garrett) of 56 years by his side.  He will be remembered by his three children, Jamie Stinson (Rob), Greg Arthur (Vicki Craig) and Darla Korver (Lyle). Bob will be missed by his grandchildren Whitney Stinson (Sean Lerat-Stetner), Lauren Stinson, Lynn Arthur (Nicole), Sarrah Pereira (Sam), Trevor Arthur, Caille Turcotte, Nicola Turcotte, Melissa Turcotte, Noah Korver and Aza Korver. Also, will be remembered by his great-grandchildren Morgan Arthur, Shea Pereira, Grayson Pereira and Cruz Lerat-Stinson. Bob was survived by his sister Willa Campbell (late Courtney) and his brothers Dalton Arthur (Nadine Arthur) and Earl Arthur (Mary). Predeceased by his siblings Audrey Scott (late Ken), Allison Darling (Barb) and Karen (late Herb Mainse).

 

He was the owner of Arthur’s General Store for 33 years.

Bob will be known for his involvement with the community including:

Inverary United Church

Bob’s Breakfast 

 

There will be a visitation for Bob at the James Reid Funeral Home on Sunday June 17, 2018 from 3-6pm. The funeral service will be held at Inverary United Church on Monday June 18, 2018 at 11am followed by a burial at the Sandhill Cemetery with a reception back at the Inverary United Church following the burial.

 

In lieu of flowers the family of the late Bob Arthur would appreciate donations to the Inverary United Church or the Inverary Youth Activities.
