Obituary of Peter Shaver

Shaver, Peter Johnson

February 17, 1942 – May 28, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad who now rests in heaven.  He lived a life full of passion for many things.  He loved music of all kinds.  As a youth he sang in the St. George’s choir and travelled to England to sing for the Queen at the Westminster Abbey.  He continued as an adult to sing in various choirs and events.  He participated in many sports and in particular loved the game of golf.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Bill (Jennifer), John (Michele) and Lori (ex. Marc); grandchildren – Meghan (Tayo), Zachary, Michael (Sadie), Gary, Randy (Tristan), Cindy (Jacob), Joe (Kim), Benjamin, Nathanael (Halle), and Jonathan.  Great grandchildren: Bradley, Joey, Hailey, Matthew, Austin, Lily, Ruby, Jordan, Johnny, Jaxon, Henry, Jason, George, Elijah and Naomi. He will also be missed by his “sweetie” Lorraine Hunt and her family.  Thank you to the staff of KGH Emergency, CSU and Davies 3 for the care provided to him over the last two years.  Rest in peace Dad.
