William was my father-in-law. With his soon to be born second grandson in Massachusetts, we were not able to make the service. I'm forever grateful for him for welcoming me into the family. At times he drove me nuts but there was not selfish bone in his body. He would do anything for us. It was truly a treat to watch him play with Ian; such a smile he would have. That's how I remember him; smiling and playing with his grandson. They had a special bond. I still find it hard to believe that he will not see Ian grow up. I will miss him.
