Obituary of Bruce KAREL

KAREL, Bruce Harry - Retired 35 year Employee with MTO in the Property Section - Bruce died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 7:00pm, with his wife Helen by his side, at Arbour Heights Nursing Home, after a long battle of 8 ½ years with Lewy Body Dementia. Bruce will be missed by his wife Helen (nee Junop) of 55 years, son Brent (Karen), Napanee, ON and Brad (Erin), Hamilton, ON, as well as his three grandchildren Taylor and Mitchell of Napanee and Miller of Hamilton. Bruce 's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Arbour Heights, for the wonderful care that he received. Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 1:00-2:00pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00pm followed by a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre. For those who wish donations in Bruce' s memory may be made to the Calvary Bible Church, Kingston or to the charity of your choice.
