Obituary of Michael SARKOZI

SARKOZI, Michael (Mihaly) Retired, 36 year Dupont employee Peacefully, yet suddenly, at Kingston General Hospital following a prolonged illness, on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Michael Sarkozi, in his 84th year, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Sipos-Szabo) for 59 years. Affectionately known as "Daddy" to his daughter, Betti Brenton (her husband Duane) and predeceased by Andre whom Michael thought of as a son. As directed by the family, cremation is under the care of James Reid Crematorium. A Memorial Reception in celebration of Michael's life will be held in the RECEPTION CENTRE of the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Thursday, February 18, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. (Please enter building from the rear parking lot). As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society in Mr. Sarkozi's memory. For those who are unable to attend the farewell, please lift your telephone receiver up and share in the special private chuckle enjoyed between his daughter and Michael by reciting the famous line as spoken by Lily Tomlin, "One ringy-dingy, two ringy-dingy's." which is what will be heard as he approaches the heavenly gates.
