Obituary of Allison SCRUBY

SCRUBY, Allison Caroline - Passed away peacefully at St. Mary s of the Lake Hospital on Sunday, February, 7, 2016 at the age of 31. Cherished and loving daughter of Pete Scruby and Nancy Blight. Beloved sister of Shane, Melanie (fiancé, Ryan Carty) and Scott. She will be missed by her Nana Shirley Spencer. Dear niece of Brian Spencer (Mimi) and their children Julienne, Sheri and Calvin; Lynne Hardill (John) and their children Kelly and Christopher (wife, Christina and their daughter Hayley). Sadly missed by her loving friend, Justin Terry and his family. Also, remembered by her many friends. Allison is predeceased by her grandfather Gordon Spencer and her cousin Andrea. Thank you to Allison s oncologist Dr. Biagi and her family doctor, Dr. Azzopardi for their kindness and compassion. A special thank you to all the staff, nurses, doctors and social workers on Davies 4 and Connell 9 at KGH and on 2 South Palliative Care Unit at St. Mary s of the Lake Hospital. Memorial Reception will be held at JAMES REID RECEPTION CENTRE (please use rear doors), 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 2pm-4pm. Due to allergies the family requests no lilies. Inurnment will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Brighton at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions in Allison' s memory may be made to UHKF (Cancer Centre of SE ON.) or UHKF (St. Mary s of the Lake Hospital Patient Comfort).
