My fondest memory of Lillian was her winter shoes. She hated boots and she would be out scraping ice off her car in high heels. This lady was remarkable, we have many good memories. I think of
her often and still miss my visits with Ray. My Mum also misses the visits we had and evenings out for dinner.
We are sorry for your Loss but I am sure she is at peace.
Love Darlene Thompson and Peg Jones

I am very sorry to learn of the loss of your mother. I went to Queen's as a graduate student in 1978, and while there I sang in the choir of St. George's Cathedral. There I met Ray (we stood next to each other in the Bass section on the Dean's side), and through him I met Lillian. I met my wife Mary at St. George's in 1981, and Ray and Lillian were at our wedding in 1982. We remained close friends until Mary and I moved to St. John's in 1985.
We last saw Lillian on a visit to Kingston in Autumn 2015. We picked her up at the retirement home and took her on a tour of Kingston including stops at both the current VIA station and the old one on Montreal Street, and then a visit to Fort Henry. It was happy day for all three of us.
Rest in peace, Lillian.

I am so very sorry to hear of the death of your Mum, Lillian. I have known her for a long time...she and I were in school together in Montreal. I have a picture of us in Grade 2, and also some skiing pictures.
We emailed each other over the years,,,,so I too will miss her.
Sincerely
Ruth Laing

I was so very sorry to hear about Lillian. She was one of my favourite People along with her dear husband Ray. The were both so very kind to me. Lillian Taught me how to go about advertising my art shows> In fact she did pr for me. We always kept up with
each other through visits and Email and later through her son> The last time we had a nice visit with each other was at my Last Book Launch. She and Ray were in my story of Anglins.
I will Never forget them or their kindness and special friendship
Deepest Sympathy to his family!
