Obituary of Hildegard Lawton

LAWTON, Hildegard Hildegard passed away peacefully Friday March 10, 2017 in Kingston at the age of 92. Born in Villach, Austria she met and married a dashing British soldier named Raymond, moved to London England and from there to Kingston where they lived a happy life together for 68 years. Raising a family, attending antique auctions and ballroom dancing were loves shared by Hilde and Ray. Later in life, until physically unable, they could be seen every day taking a walk hand in hand at a little park outside of Kingston. Hildegard was predeceased by her husband Raymond and eldest son Geoffrey (Sandy) and will be missed by son Peter (Angela), grandchildren Rebecca, Leigh-Anne, Bobbi-Alissa, Dakota and great grandson Bowie. In keeping with Hildegard’s wishes there will be no service, cremation has taken place at the James Reid Crematorium. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to the Arthritis Society.
