Obituary of Pauline Lenore MACKEIGAN

MACKEIGAN, Pauline Lenore -- Sadly, on Saturday, January 9, 2016, in her ninety-first year, while surrounded by her loving family, Pauline left this world for a new assignment. Predeceased by her parents William and Eleanor Storms, her husband William MacKeigan, and her son Thomas Astbury. Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her children Mark Astbury (Barb), Delta, ON and Allyn Parrett (Allan), North Vancouver, BC and by her beloved, spoiled grandchildren Trina Astbury (Scott), Alana Parrett (Lauren), and Daniel Parrett (Aileen). Beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews, Pauline was known for her 30 years of dedicated service at Millhaven Fibres and for her 20 years with G4S as a security guard, par excellence, notably at Food Basics on Barrack Street. Visitation at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Wednesday, January 13, between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel on Thursday, January 14, at 11:00 am. Reverend Tim Milley officiating. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Glenburnie. A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kingston Humane Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
