Obituary of Giuseppe CALLIGARIS

CALLIGARIS, Giuseppe `Pepi`, Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, surrounded by the love of family, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in his 84th year. Pepi Calligaris, beloved husband of Laurie (nee Powless), who predeceased him in 1993. Dear Dad of Judy Hopkins (Barry), David Wickenden (Fay), Debbie Groulx, and Petie Bilton (Tom). Affectionately known as `Papa` to 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Giuliana Calligaris, cousin Aldo Rosso, nephew Marco and niece Marta, and their families. The family will receive friends at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Saturday, January 9, between the hours of 11:00 am and 12:50 pm. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to U.H.K.F., in Mr. Calligaris`memory.
