Obituary of John Amey PETERS

PETERS, John Amey - June 1, 1931 - January 2, 2016 - Passed away at the Kingston General Hospital of respiratory failure. Son of the late William John Hugh Peters and Sara Amey Peters. Survived by his wife Carolyn Ann (nee Swartz) Peters; four children, Cathy Peters (Paul LePage) of Lachine, Quebec, Kim Donald (Bill Brown), Jeff Peters (Penny Peters), Heidi Beaumont (Gary Beaumont) all of Belleville; eight grandchildren, Evan and Jesse Donald, Adam, Jeff and Tim Ropchan, Cassie Pitt (Mitch Pitt), Sydney Holmes and Demi Smith; and three great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Victor Davies of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by his sister Marieta Davies. Visitation will be held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 10:00am to 11:15am with the funeral service in the chapel at 11:30am. Reception to follow. Cremation to take place at the James Reid Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
