Obituary of Stanislaw GABRYEL

GABRYEL, Stanislaw - aka Papa, " The Toronto Kingston Polish Hippie" - With courage and dignity, and family by his side, Stanislaw passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at the age of 93. Stanislaw, beloved husband of the late Nora (nee Broadley). He is survived by his son Christopher (Sandra). Proud and loving Grandfather of Michelle Alana Jones (Paul) and Terence Christian Gabryel (Lillian). Most loving and proudest Grandpapa of Grant " Grande" , Gavin, Morgan, Emma and Ryder. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Cynthia. A personal thank you is extended to dear friends Pat and Amanda for all their care and support and to the many others that have been there through the years. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston. Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6-8pm and on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 10-10:45am. Liturgy of the Word service will held on Thursday at 11:00am. Rite of Committal will follow the service at Cataraqui Cemetery. For those who wish donations may be made to ALS Canada in memory of Stanislaw' s wife Nora, or to the Children' s Wish Foundation. Precious memories, forever in our hearts.
