Obituary of Michael SMITH

SMITH, Michael John Douglas Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in his 71st year. Loving husband of Margaret Smith. Dear father of Sherry, Michelle, Lorraine (Bob), Margie McEwen (Gerald), Michael and Rachelle. Grandfather of Marissa, Chelsy (Jake), Dylon (Anna), Brody, Courtney, Michael and he will be missed by other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of James, Robert, Mary Lake, Arlene (Doug) and brother-in-law to Dawn. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Mary and James Smith, brother Harry, sister Dorothy McDonald (Bruce), his sisters-in-law Denise and Alice and his brother-in-law James. In keeping with Michael s wishes cremation has taken place at the James Reid Crematorium. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Michael s memory may be made CNIB.
