Obituary of Winnifred SALLOWS

SALLOWS, Winnifred E. - August 2, 1936 - August 22, 2016 - Our Mother Winnie joined her husband, Allan, in eternal rest on Monday, August 22, 2016 at St. Mary s of the Lake Hospital. At the age of 80 mom passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and supported by the caring staff. She is survived by her Daughters, Mina (Bob), Shirley (Joe) and sons Allan (Marion), Murray and Dallas (Kim). She was predeceased by her daughter Delleana and Bill her husband. Proud Nanny of Sean (Stephanea), Brian (Kate), Jeffery (Abby), Noel, Christopher, David, Brittany, Richard, Tiffany (Rick), Melissa, Avery, Nathan, Ryan and Dillon and Great Nan of Echo, Madison, Reileigh, Ellie and Jackson. Winnie will be fondly remembered as a dear sister, aunt and friend. Winnie s family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 11-11:45 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service, at 12:00pm. Reception to follow the service in the reception centre of the funeral home. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Winnie s memory may be made to St. Paul Anglican Church, Kingston or to Kingston Hospice.
