HIGGINS, Esther E. "Leslie" Peacefully, at Trillium Long Term Care on Friday, August 19, 2016, at the age of 93. Leslie (nee Laird), beloved wife of 61 years to Wilfrid "Bill" Higgins, who predeceased her in 2010. Loving mother of Jocelyn, the late Scott, and Derek and fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Diane. Proud grandmother of Samantha (Allan), Sarah (Julien) and Nicholas, and great grandmother to Brayden. The family extends sincere gratitude to the caregivers at Trillium (Ridge Building) for their care and compassion. Leslie's family will gather privately for a graveside service at Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Leslie.
