Obituary of Victor YACHUK

Victor quietly passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Kingston General Hospital, at the age of 83. Victor, beloved husband of 59 years to Florence Betty Lillis. He is survived by his niece Lynn Flicker (nee Yachuk) of Mallorytown, nephew William A. Yachuk of Calgary, AB and by his numerous great nieces and nephews and their families. Victor was predeceased by his parents Anna and Tony (Anthony) Yachuk and by his brother William Yachuk, all of Kingston. Victor was an avid triple diamond skier, he was also a Formula Jr. racer and designed and built the VAG Engine. A memorial celebrating Victor' s life will be held in the Reception Centre of the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd. Kingston) on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 6:00 - 7: 30 pm (please use rear doors). A private family burial will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Victor 's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
