Phil's death came as a shock to me. Sadly, because of Don's Alzheimer's disease, he is unable to recall much but did say yes, he remembered the name. I had a soft spot in my heart for Phil. Tried to see him at St. Mary's but he was not in his room. I can only imagine the terrible sadness you feel in your loss. My deepest sympathy. Jeannie

Dear Wendy,
We have hardly been to FL at all lately as all our balconies had to be replaced so weren't able to meet you "half way" for lunch.
Sent an e-mail to Phil a few weeks ago and it of course did not go through so today decided to Google and saw the sad news. We are so very sorry to hear of his passing. Phil was a great guy and a pleasure to work with. We had some great experiences and he was always able to keep his sense of humour even in "rough" situations. A very positive guy. Our condolences to you and Family.
We will miss him.

Wendy, Leslie, Christine and Heather, I am very saddended for your loss. Phil was a very kind and caring man to everyone he ever met. Nadine and I first met him when he was dating Wendy. He was so good looking and we were so impressed when he would arrive at my Grandma's, to take Wendy on a date, in his red hot MG convertible...too cool. My Grandma would be peeking out the window to check him out. She would say "Oh, he is so dashing and handsome in his uniform, such a lovely man, hope he marries Wendy". She had dated a few guys before him, but we liked Phil the best. My Grandma and the rest of us were thrilled when they got hitched and had kids. He was even the family dog's fave, a scrappy Scottish terrier who we all feared as he chased us screaming around the house. Of course we eventually found out it was because Phil had been taking him to McDonalds for a burger, which cracked me up. He was always willing to help others and never got caught up in the family drama, which I appreciated. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you Phil. Rest in peace.
Love Jennifer
