David, Jim and families
Our sincerest condolences. I will always remember your mom's smile. I remember her when I was young and she was always so nice to me. Her vibrant smile and happy nature. She made such an impression and will always be remembered.

Dear Jim, David and families,
our heartfelt condolences in the passing of your dear mother. She was the best neighbor we ever had and a very special friend. We kept in touch even after your parents moved to Kingston and remember fondly the visits in Kingston and at the cottage. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, with lots of love,
Annelie and Günther

To David, Jim and families and Verna's many very close friends. Although, not a direct Aunt, Verna was always a favourite with her sincere, friendly and caring ways. Ann felt the same way when she met Verna and Bruce. I wish that I had inherited some of Verna's artistic abilities through the Tibbles lineage. She lived a long and dedicated life but will be sorely missed. We send our love and sympathy. Ann and Bob Miller, Owen Sound

Verna was my mums best friend. They spent many happy hours together in her car painting winter barns and the lovely colours of fall in the townships. The whole Speak family loved and admired Verna and are deeply sadened by her passing. Our heartfelt condolences to you Jim and David and to you families.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs Vowles' family! Back in '70, Mrs Vowles was my grade 2 teacher at Allancroft Elementary School in Beaconsfield. I have many memories of her and frequently have talked about her over the years. Her passion and caring of others was so memorable! She was and will always be one of my favourite teachers!! Dear David and Jim and families,
Our sincere condolences to you all.
Mary, Alicia, Duncan and I have very fond memories of visiting with Verna and Bruce at the cottage and in Kingston over many years. There were always Peak Freans cookies on the table when we dropped by!
Your Parents' kindness and grace will be missed by us all.
Take gentle care,
Don & Maureen Young
