Obituary of Patrick PIDGEON

PIDGEON, Patrick Albany Joseph Big P - Passed away tragically in the line of duty on Saturday July 16, 2016. Born September 9th, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario. Son of Solange (Bourassa) and Walter Pidgeon of Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Loving husband to Karen Green (Kingston, ON) and proud father to Patrick Little P Green. Son in law to Fran and Wayne Green (Kingston, ON) and brother-in-law to Chris Green. Patrick was a very private man, he did have a way with storytelling to his friends and co-workers. Both Patrick and Karen recently returned from a trip of a lifetime to India. Patrick was a decorated and honoured Canadian Forces Veteran who served in many missions overseas including two tours in Afghanistan as well many other missions. Patrick served as a Correctional Officer for Corrections Canada; his pride, passion and dedication was serving as a volunteer firefighter for Loyalist Township Fire Department. Visitation at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. Kingston, Ontario, K7M 7H3 on Friday, July 22 2016 from 1:00-3:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm. A Memorial Ceremony for Patrick Pidgeon will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 at 1:00pm at the WJ Henderson Recreational Facility at 322 Amherst Drive, Amherstview, ON . Reception to follow at the Loyalist Township Fire Station, 363 Amherst Drive Amherstview, ON.
