Obituary of Mary JACKSON

JACKSON, Mary Therese (nee Greenwood)- December 16, 1924 - December 18, 2015 - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, in her 92nd year. Mary, loving and cherished mom of Barbara and grandma of Tim. Predeceased by her husband Al Jackson. She is survived by her dear sister Pearl O Connor (the late Barney) of Peterborough, sisters-in-law Ann Greenwood (the late Glenn) and Betty Greenwood (the late Reginald), brother-in-law Jan Hasselaar (the late Mae) and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mary was also predeceased by her parents Thomas and Molly (nee McGlynn) Greenwood, brothers Francis (Margaret), Freeman, Glenn, Joseph, and Reginald, sisters Lillian Staley (Melville) and Mae Hasselaar, niece Eileen Robinson, and nephew Bart Greenwood. Visitation at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Tuesday, December 22nd from 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph 's Catholic Church (392 Palace Road) on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:30am. Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery on Wolfe Island. For those who wish donations may be made to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation in Mary' s memory.
