Obituary of Bill MUTCH

MUTCH, Donald William Bill - L.L.M., Q.C. - 1941-2016 - It is with great sadness the family of Bill Mutch announces his death on July 15, 2016. Following a long career practising corporate and commercial law as a partner with Gowlings in Toronto, Bill and his loving wife of 52 years, Heather (nee Brown), retired to Kingston in 2004. Bill and Heather enjoyed a 12 year sojourn relaxing and travelling to Florida during the winter months. He was a proud alumni of Queens University as well as an avid Blue Jays and Maple Leaf fan. Bill is survived by Heather and children Cathy (Sven), and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Julia; Rob (Jasmin); David (Maryam). He was a kind and gentle man and will be missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 20, 2016 at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to the Kingston Humane Society or the Kingston General Hospital Auxiliary where Bill had volunteered.
