Obituary of George H. BUELL

BUELL, George H. - Passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights on Sunday, July 10, 2016, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 67 years to Shirley Weir. Devoted father of Nancy Pierce (David Duncan) and Karen Eyolfson (Michael). Loving grandfather of Melissa and Kyle Boone, and Chloe and Christian Pierce. Survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by parents Albert and Sarah (Potter) Buell, brothers Albert (Mae Scullion) Buell; Edward (Ruth Potter) Buell; sister Elsie (John Peacock) Buell and son-in-law Terry Pierce. Predeceased also by brother-in-law Harold Weir, sister-in-law Thelma Weir, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Carl and Muriel (Weir) Hart; niece and nephew Fred and Susan (Hart) Craig; and nephew young John Peacock. Thanks to Dr. Beck and staff on "MacDonald" for their excellent care. The family will receive friends at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Wednesday, July 13 from 1:00 pm until 1:50 pm. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Canon Andrew Chisholm officiating. Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery will be followed by a reception in the Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of George may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Kingston or to the charity of your choice.
